What began as a weekend hobby has transformed into South Florida’s most dedicated marine service provider. Swordfish Boat Works was born from a simple truth: few things compare to the joy of being on the water, and maintaining that joy requires genuine expertise and care.
Our founder, born in Colombia and raised in Miami, spent his childhood summers exploring the waters from Biscayne Bay to the backcountry of the Keys. What started as helping friends with basic boat maintenance in his driveway gradually evolved as word spread about his meticulous attention to detail and genuine understanding of marine environments.
In 2021, this passion officially became Swordfish Boat Works, starting with a small facility serving a handful of loyal clients. As our reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and honest service grew, so did our operation. Today, our Key Largo headquarters serves as the central hub for our expanded South Florida service area, with a team of specialists who share the founder’s dedication to marine excellence.
